Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.

Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.

Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Description

To save her mother’s life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters—never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.

As Clary uncovers more about her family’s past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadowhunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadowhunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he’s willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City—whatever the cost?

Love is a mortal sin and the secrets of the past prove deadly as Clary and Jace face down Valentine in the third installment of bestselling series the Mortal Instruments.

Includes an exclusive sneak peek of the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments series: City of Fallen Angels! And don't miss the teaser from Clockwork Angel, the first book in the Infernal Devices trilogy, the prequel to the Mortal Instruments series.

Summary: "Love it like a fat kid loves cake!"

I finished City of Glass and I have to say that The Mortal Instruments is one of the best series I have ever read. City of Bones crushed me a little with the news that Clary and Jace were really brother and sister. I was stubborn though and I refused to believe it. I immediately ran over to pick up City of Ashes. City of Ashes was even more exciting then the first book in the series. It was in that book that I realized why everybody is always raving about Magnus Bane. He is a very....sparkly character. I of course was also driven crazy by the end of that book when Jace "lies" to Clary and says he will just be her brother from now on...You are killing me Cassandra Clare!

City of Glass picks up right after City of Ashes. Clary's mother is still in her magically induced coma but now, thanks to Madeline, Clary knows how to save her and the only one who can help her is in Idris. The reader hears a lot about Idris in the previous books but we are never really introduces to it until this book. Despite Clary's reasons for wanting to go to Idris Jace is determined to prevent her from going. Jace fears that Clary's heightened Shadowhunter abilities will make her desired by the Clave. After an unexpected demon attack Jace manages to succeed in leaving Clary behind but ends up bringing Simon with instead. Let's just say that the new Inquisitor is not too pleased to see a vampire come through the portal and he has some plans for Simon.

Jace may have succeeded initially but Clary being the determined person she is creates her own portal and ends up in Idris with Luke anyways. Shortly after arriving in Idris Clary meets a new tall dark haired boy who seems strangely familiar. Sebastian quickly offers to help Clary in her pursuit for the warlock who can help her cure her mother. Valentine is still moving forward with his plans to attack the Clave and Idris. He has the sword and the cup and now he just needs the mirror. The only way to defeat his demon army may be for Shadowhunters and Downworlders to work together. Putting aside there differences and petty jealousies may prove to be impossible. Only Clary seems to hold the key to uniting them against Valentine.

City of Glass is action packed and laced with declarations of love *squeal*. I can't wait to continue this series with City of Fallen Angels which is scheduled to release April 5, 2011. At least I will have Clockwork Angel to tide me over in the meantime and I only have to wait 2 more weeks for it!

Summary: "Meh."

City of Glass. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it.

There are sure to be some SPOILERS, so read on at your own risk ;)

The writing seemed a little off in this book. It didn't read like the first two books did. I really really liked the first two books. But this one felt like it dragged on in places and more than once I thought "is this conversation ever going to get to the point?" or "is this book ever going to end?"
There were things I did like. Sebastians character I thought was well done. I liked most of the main returning characters. Isabelle got annoying in this book, as did Clary and Jace at times. There must have been some channeling of Bella Swan here, because I guess I needed to hear about Jace's curling hair and how it curls against his temple or about his battle scars/marks every other time Clary looks at him. The repetition got old. I like Simon and Luke the most this time around.

It was kind of predictable.
SPOILERS HERE, SPOILERS HERE, SPOILERS HERE..............
(I never believed that Jace and Clary were siblings, and was happy to be proven right. It was kind of easy to figure it out when Clary felt like she knew Sebastian even though having never met him before. That was kind of the dead giveaway, to me. But I was super happy that Clary and Jace got the ending that they wanted.)
...............END OF SPOILERS

Boy, I wish Amazon would get spoiler tags. That would make keeping spoilers from being spoiled a lot easier.

The ending battle was a bit of a disappointment.

It was nice to finish the story and see how it all played out and get all the answers, but after finishing this trilogy, I have a hard time thinking that I'll try Clare's new series, 'Clockwork Angel'.....at least not for a long while.

Summary: "4.5 STARS An intense ending to an incredible series"

How exciting was this book?! It really kept me on my toes. There are some things that are revealed that readers definitely saw coming, but I think the point was that the characters didn't...and that still made things intense. Fans will be relieved to discover (beyond a shadow of doubt) that Jace and Clary are not brother and sister! *wipes sweat from brow* Clary and Jace discover what makes them so special, and why they are capable to do things other Shadowhunters cannot.

I loved the fact that we got to visit Idris and gain more insight to the various sects of downworlders including Luke's family. We also meet the rest of the Lightwood family and their storyline is heartbreaking. In fact, this book is full of gut wrenching moments and poignant revelations. However, even in the midst of some emotional scenes and adrenaline pumping fights, the author realizes the importance of adding a touch of humor to the mood, and Isabelle and Magnus are right on hand delivering some fantastic, memorable lines. Clare tied up all the loose ends and left me longing for more story...thank goodness for the Epilogue.

Ahhh...the Epilogue. I have heard a lot of different opinions on the Epilogue at the end of the story. Some opinions were ranting about the scene with the Fairy Queen, some unsatisfied with the lack of intimacy shown between Jace & Clary, some were just belly aching in general. My take on it is this...I am pretty sure that the scenes are important to the story Clare was telling, otherwise why would she have included them at all. I personally wasn't ready to say "The End" and was thrilled to read the added pages with more information about the characters that I had grown so attached to. I liked it and devoured every word. Imagine how excited I was to discover that Cassandra Clare wasn't finished with the characters and was writing another book in the series, City of Fallen Angels and a prequel, Clockwork Angel. *squee*

Be sure to pick up a Paperback copy of City of Glass this week to get an exclusive sneak peek of the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments series: City of Fallen Angels! And don't miss the teaser from Clockwork Angel, the first book in the Infernal Devices trilogy, the prequel to the Mortal Instruments series, due for release later this month!

Summary: "Reading with Tequila"

This is what the previous books have been leading us to - the end of the trilogy and all our questions answered. City of Glass in one word: Action. Not non-stop, but a heavy amount and it's necessary. The final face-off with Valentine was destined to be bloody and fans won't be disappointed.

Clary and Jace, oh where to start? Their "romantic" story line does get closure, but of a little too predictable nature. From almost the very beginning I think most people had a feeling how this was going to turn out. Every piece of the puzzle led us and the big shock had less power than it should have had. I'm an adult, made common sense observations and probably read the books searching for clues that made the resolution of the romance less surprising that someone who is reading the book at face value. It was all there, hinting and leading to the end, but probably was only obvious to people who go looking for these things.

There were some truly wonderful heartfelt moments and the overall plot was wrapped up nicely. Clary, Jace and the rest of the major players spent most of the book in Idris and getting to experience the much talked about place was very interesting. Readers also get an even closer look at the workings of the Clave which is where most of the surprises in City of Glass stem from.

The book was not without its heartbreaking occurrences, but nothing was truly monumental in that area. Sadness, yes. Tears, not so much. City of Glass does a wonderful job of completing the trilogy. Most importantly, for me at least, we get to see Alec and Magnus finally decide what's going on between them. Awesome. This was definitely the best book in the series for me.

Surprisingly, the story isn't quite over. The fourth book in the trilogy (yes, you read that right), City of Fallen Angels, is scheduled to be released in 2011. There's no work where the story is heading now, but my guess is we'll be seeing a lot more of the Clave, Simon and the rest of the downworlders.
